Kahalu'u Ward Message 8/21/22

Aloha Kahalu`u Ward,

In the last general conference, Elder Holland directed his words to the youth. While he also said "meaning anyone President Russell M. Nelson’s age or younger," he pointed out that in the world today, there seems to be a greater desire to find happiness.

He said, "My plea today to our youth, and to you parents and adults who advise them, is to begin your search for happiness by embracing the bounty we have already received from the giver of every good gift. At precisely the moment many in the world are asking deep questions of the soul, we ought to be answering with the “good news” of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which holds aloft the mission and message of the Savior of the world, offers the most eternally significant way to both find good and do good at such a needful time."

Having a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christs leads to blessings in so many ways. Keeping His commandments guides us away from so many pitfalls and struggles. Being a part of the Kahalu`u ward in His church should bring us opportunities to serve those in need, and receive service in our times of need. How many benefits and blessings have you received because of your membership in His church?

Aloha,

Kaihaku Chun
