ALOHA Kahalu’u Ward,
Going through Holy Week this past week, I felt so blessed to have had the opportunity with my family to be counseled by the leaders of the gospel during General Conference.
The messages they shared were messages of hope. I felt comforted. I felt encouraged.
But what I felt, doesn’t necessarily mean, it is what I’ll do. Or any of us.
We need to “act upon it” as Elder Bednar once counseled us to do.
During the Saturday morning session, Elder Allen D Haynie, of the Seventy counseled, “…we are never spiritually at risk in following prophetic counsel.”
Why? Because the Prophet is the mouthpiece of the Lord. And in the Lords voice, we shall find peace. The same peace He gave the world when He rose with victory that Easter morning. May we LIVE our lives accordingly, to show our appreciation of His matchless gift.
