Aloha Kahalu'u Ward,
Happy Ward Conference Week! It's an event to renew our ward's focus, reach out to one another, see each other for dinner, get a visit from the stake leaders and discuss the goals of the ward for the year. This year the ward theme comes from Moroni 7:41
I love that the gospel of Jesus Christ is entirely about hope- the possibility of us becoming more like Him. No matter where we are, or how we are, none of us is out of the reach of the hope of His atonement.
Aloha,
Kaihaku Chun

Howzit family, friends and fellow missionaries !
We had zone conference this week and it was my first one being zone leader. I was pretty nervous for the training I was gonna be giving. It turned out pretty baller though and Elder Tai Hook and I are good at feeding off one another as we teach.
To finish out Saturday we did some knocking and stumbled upon our friend Reuben. He's a spanish speaker and couldn't understand a single word of english. It was tough but again google translate came in clutch and we were able to get the message of the El Libro De Mormon across and he accepted a copy and was excited to have the spanish Elders come back next week.
The Lord has been so involved with the work and it's such a testimony builder to know that if we put in the work and be in places where God can allow the mircales to happen. They will happen! We've had so many experiences this week where it's the last door we knock or on the way home we stop at the park to talk to a few more people and we end up finding new people to teach.
I'm so grateful and blessed to be so close to the Lord. He has been my best friend and the reason I continue to get up every day and do the best work that I can. Thank you all such for your love and support. I really couldn't this without you guys. Have a great week.
Shoots, Elder Dano
