Aloha my Brothers and Sisters,
Last week we had a great opportunity to listen to general conference. My favorite talk was by Henry B. Eyring entitled, “Steady in the storms”. In his talk he says, “When the storms in life come, you will be steady because you are standing on the rock of your faith in Jesus Christ”. This really stood out to me because when bad things happen and you have built yourself a strong foundation you will be held strong and the gospel of jesus christ will help you get through the trials of life. Sometimes life is hard, but if we hold onto the rock of the gospel we will stand firm and come out stronger.
As President Eyring closed his talk, he said that, “through the storms of hatred and wickedness, you will feel steady and hopeful.” I hope as we go through this week that we will remember to be steady and hopeful and remember our savior, Jesus Christ.
