Kahalu'u Ward Message 2/12/23

Dear Kahaluu Ward Members,

If ever doubt crosses your mind... if other paths seem easier to walk... or circumstances in your life seem too much to handle... Please do not give up. Be strong, be faithful, be prayerful, be thankful.

In Proverbs 3:5–6, we read this counsel:

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Leaning means setting yourself off balance. Center your lives in Jesus Christ who is a sure foundation.

President Thomas S. Monson testified that “our promised blessings are beyond measure. Though the storm clouds may gather, though the rains may pour down upon us, our knowledge of the gospel and our love of our Heavenly Father and of our Savior will comfort and sustain us … as we walk uprightly. … There will be nothing in this world that can defeat us.”

Love,

Bishop Tano, Kahalu'u Ward
