Aloha Kahalu'u Ward! It's the Christmas season, and you know what that means! Feelings of love, peace, and joy enter our homes as our minds become more focused on Christ and His birth.
One Christlike attribute that we notice more in the world around this time of year is charity. Moroni describes charity as "the pure love of Christ," (Moroni 7:47). As we seek to become more charitable, our hearts are filled with a purer love towards the people we interact with each and every day.
Each December, the Church has an event titled, "Light the World." This event encourages people all around the globe to brighten others day with the Light of Christ and to be more charitable to those around us. We invite you all to check out lighttheworld.org and to share the Light of Christ that you have withing yourself with others.
