Kahalu'u Ward Message 12/17/23

Sharing a message that I received from Sis. Graham - Bishop Tano

Hi Bishop,

I gave an exit interview to a good sister missionary.  I laughed so much when she started to tell family stories of her brother getting engaged and her sister being married.  Yi Woo is the youngest of her siblings, and oh what a combination of strength, humor, honesty.  I am so excited to meet her brother and sister in law who attend BYUHawaii.

This will help me when I go home because there will be a flood of tears when I leave Vancouver. I’m teary saying goodbye to the missionaries who we first met upon our arrival in BC.  It’s like having a happy family who expresses appreciation all the time, frequent hugs and many I love you’s.

Sunday, Peter was baptized by Harry. This Saturday, Lilly Zhong and Brother Yi will receive their endowment. Soon, Yao Yan will be baptized.

I’m so happy supporting these Saints! I’m just SOOO HAPPY!  His work truly is JOYFUL.  God is so good. I feel so abundantly blessed!  I LOVE getting how much Jesus loves His Father. Hence the obedience and Send me, “Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever."

We truly can trust Jesus Christ because He loves and does what the Father would have Him do!  Hence the doctrine, Faith in Jesus Christ, changing our lives daily through the Redeemers infinite atonement.  Our small sacrifice is to have a broken heart and a contrite spirit key in striving to live His gospel.  Our consecration of time, talents or all things continually.  All the continual blessings from our Father are so great when compared to our small sacrifice.

It's amazing to receive a witness of The Father and Son's love for me and all his children! Amazing Grace!  Man! Little old me knows God lives, that Jesus Christs restored church is a HAPPENING!

Love,

Sis. Winnie Graham

Canada, Vancouver Sr. Missionary
