Kahalu'u Ward Message 11/21/21

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As I was reading the Doctrine and Covenants 135, I found an index card tucked in my scriptures with a bulleted list titled the “Contributions of the Prophet Joseph Smith”. This list supplements verse 3 which starts, “Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it.” I would like to share that list with you.

  • Truth about the Godhead

  • Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, Pearl of Great Price

  • Priesthood and its Keys

  • Baptism and other Ordinances

  • Temples

  • Work for the Dead

  • Fullness of the Gospel and teachings of Christ

  • Missionary work

  • Plan of Salvation

  • Organization and Name of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I am so thankful for Joseph Smith and all those saints of the early Restoration. I love reading the revelations in conjunction with the Come Follow Me program this year. I know that this resource is inspired to help us in these days.

With love,

Cathy Kaonohi Kahalu'u Ward Relief Society President
