Aloha my brothers and sisters. This past week we were so fortunate to celebrate Thanksgiving. I am so beyond grateful for my family and friends, as well as this amazing church. Nonetheless, something I’ve been continuously grateful for is the power of prayer. Last week, we read in James how prayer is such a powerful tool in order for us to connect with our Heavenly Father. No matter what, prayer is always there for us to turn to our Heavenly Father for comfort and healing. Recently I have been striving to keep up with my own personal prayers at night, and have been able to see many blessings in my life. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have a one on one conversation with our loving Father above and it has truly allowed me to strengthen my own testimony. I bear my testimony that I know this church is true, and I know that as we may experience difficulties we can be able to pray and look for questions to be answered in our everyday lives.
Much Love,
Malia Kaonohi

We had a cool experience meeting our friend Jessica. We heard this past week to not let the miracle walk pass you. We saw this lady strapping her son into his car seat and I usually walk pass people doing that be becasue I know how chaotic that can be so we walked by but I felt like we needed to turned around and talk to her. So we did and now we're heading back after Thanksgiving to teach her about the Plan of Salvation and how families can be together forever.
Doctrine and Covenants 59:7 "Thou shalt thank the Lord thy God in all things". With the Thanksgiving Holiday coming up I invite you all to write down 3 things you're grateful for everyday until Thanksgiving. When you do you'll realize there is so much to be grateful for because the Lord loves you.
Another great week out here on the mission. Thank you all for the support and love. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I'll catch you guys next week.
Love, Elder Dano
