Aloha to our Kahaluu Ohana! We are the missionaries serving in this wonderful area of Kahaluu! We want to share a message about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The light of Christ is found in every single person to ever live on this earth. We know that by sharing His light, we can strengthen those around us and become better disciples of Him. Here is a scripture that we would love to share with you. D&C 96:5
"For behold, verily I say unto you, this is the most expedient in me, that my word should go forth unto the children of men, for the purpose of subduing the hearts of the children of men for your good. Even so. Amen."
We know that sharing the light of Christ is one of the easiest ways to bring someone closer to Jesus Christ. We testify that Jesus lives! He is the Redeemer of all mankind. We are so very grateful to be working in this wonderful area.
We love you all! Peace be unto you!

Missionary Corner
Sorry, it's been 2 months since emailing everyone. Here's what happened though:
- Yūma was baptized!! It was on the 25th. Best Christmas present ever.
- My friend Chibana was also baptized! Do you remember Chibana when I was in Okinawa? He shortly stopped meeting with missionaries after I left, but I continued texting him. He met with the missionaries one time and was baptized the next week!
Because of this experience, I have a strong testimony of planting seeds. Even though I wasn't there to see the baptism, I'm grateful to have been apart of the finding and teaching process. My new trainee is Elder Mariteragi, from Laie Hawaii. Our branch is super hyped that they have 2 Hawaiians, so we're throwing a Hawaii party.
Love,
Elder Tano
