Aloha brothers and sisters,
As a new year begins, we were able to advance and ordain a bunch of new deacons in our ward. This past Thursday we had our first activity with them and went over passing the Sacrament. The excitement from all the deacons was awe inspiring. The older boys were excited to help teach the younger boys about passing the Sacrament and the younger boys were inching to start fulfilling the duties of the priesthood they now possessed.
This is a testament to the parents, families, leaders, and ward family, that have helped teach these young men the importance of being worthy of the priesthood. We are blessed to have a strong foundation in our ward and the Lord will continue to bless us in our lives because of that foundation.
