Aloha Kahalu'u Ward,
We are the missionaries assigned to your ward. The Book of Mormon has been described as the most correct book of any on Earth. We're promised that as we read it and live by its teachings, then we will draw nearer to God than by any other book. As we put forth a sincere effort each day to understand what God would have us do, we can find those answers in the Book of Mormon. We love the Book of Mormon and have seen how it changes people to be more a more joyful, Christ-centered person. We invite you all to evaluate your own study the book of Mormon and find ways to improve it. We know of the blessings promised from doing so and we want all of you to experience those blessings. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

MISSIONARY CORNER

This week ive been pondering alot about patience and sacrifice. Trusting Gods plan and His timing even when its hard or doesnt make much sense.
Recently especially ive wondered why I cant just have the blessings now when i want them. I remembered listening to a Dieter F Uchdorf talk and i went back and reread it, its titled "continue in patience" in this talk he says
"Patience means staying with something until the end. It means delaying immediate gratification for future blessings."
It can be very hard to see past the present trial you are facing and just want to be blessed here and now, but I have come to know that when we can push off our current desires to align our will with Gods in the end we will be blessed. So be patient, align your plan with Gods, sacrifice something now for something better and I promise everything will fall into place.
alofa atu,
Elder Fano
