Dear Kahalu'u Ward,

I'm with my family in Japan this week and we were able to go to a place that had a lot of Sakura flowers in bloom. We thought we wouldn't have a chance to see them because most of the Cherry Blossom trees that we have seen look bare and have not bloomed yet. I learned that they don't bloom until the beginning of April which signifies that Spring has arrived. This made me think of Easter and the birth of Jesus Christ. Both Sakura blossoming and Easter occur in the spring, a season known for the renewal, rebirth, and hope. I am thankful for having the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ and all the things that this church teaches me. I know it is true.

Aloha, Dallen Tano

Missionary Corner

I got sent back to Dilkon which is the area I had on the Navajo Rezervation! It has been great to be back just over the past 5 days I have had so much fun. I am in a trio and have 2 great comps. One of them is Elder Gallegos which I have really wanted to be comps with for a while! On Sunday going to church was cool because there where 7 people there who wouldn't have been there if it wast for the work I had done last time I was in Dilkon! It is great to be finishing my mission here.

Love

Elder Candari
