Aloha Kahalu'u Ward,

“To truly honor His coming into the world, we must do as He did and reach out in compassion and mercy to our fellowmen. This we can do daily, by word and deed. Let this become our Christmas tradition, no matter where we are to be a little kinder, more forgiving, less judging, more grateful and more generous in sharing our abundance with those in need”

Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf

(First Presidency’s Christmas Devotional, Dec. 3, 2017)

Aloha,

Paliku Kahalepuna

Kahalu’u Sunday School President

Missionary Corner

So since my last email I got moved off of the Navajo reservation which was kind of a big bummer. I got moved to Spring Valley. It has been good in my opinion not as fun as my last area but there is a lot of work to be done. We are teaching quite a few people. I have been trying to get members involved to help those people come to church. Sedona is in my zone which is cool because there are a lot of nice hikes there. There is a new member who moved into our area a few weeks ago and we have been trying to get her to come to church. And she finally came yesterday which was great she also has a boy friend who is into motorcycles and so I have enjoyed getting to know him. He also came to church yesterday which was cool to see. Even though I got moved out of the Navajo reservation 1 of the guys I found and a family of 4 I found are getting baptized which is so cool. I learned that I am staying in this area but getting a new companion which should be fun.

Love,

Elder Candari
