Aloha Kahalu’u Ward!!

Upon gathering my thoughts for this weeks ward message, I’m still in high spirits from last weeks General Conference.  I’ve selected talks that I need to go back and listen to again for my own improvement. Talks that spiritually pushed my thoughts to “I need to do this”.  And I cannot say it any better than how our leaders expressed it. Therefore I won’t. But I would share with you who and what they spoke on.

First was ELDER Kevin G Brown of the Seventy. He spoke in the Saturday second session. He reminded me of what to do with my testimony. He had me at the edge of my seat!!! I can just FEEL his ENERGY!! Super powerful!!

Second was President Dallin H Oaks.

A reminder for me not just to spend time with my family. But to make sure I spend it wisely.

I need to ask my Heavenly Father to guide my thoughts as a father to this family.

What about you? Who and what were your favorite talks from this conference?  Please share!!

Much Aloha,

Brother Joe Fano1st Councilor, Kahalu'u Ward Bishopric

This was the first week of in person mtc!! This has literally been a super great week! I was able to meet with my companions for the first time and they have both been so fire!! Elder Viera and Elder Palmer!  Both of them are from California!! Ive also been able to learn so so much from my district this week. We really have been able to conect and help each other grow so much in the gospel and we have only been together for one week.

The Food here has been pretty good haha! Ngl the chocolate Milk has been pretty fire tho! They have this aloha station that serve different types of "local food" that i though was pretty funny but is also tasted pretty good.

On Wednesday we went to the Timpanogos temple and had a chance to do proxy baptism and initiatory. it was an amazing experience being able tto do these ordinances in a different temple! One thing thst i love about th templs is that every temple is unique in their own way! But the ordinaces that we so inside the temple are the same no matter what!! Through classes this week I was able to learn and grow so much in the gospel! I truly have been able to feel the spirit of the holy ghost so much through the messages and teachings through out this week!

Thank you guys for all the support. I love guys so much and Miss you all!
