Aloha Kahalu’u Ward,
Last weekend, during General Conference we had an opportunity to hear the inspiring words of our beloved Prophet, President Russel M. Nelson, as well as the Apostles and other church leaders. As I went throughout this week, I re-listened to a couple of the talks given and also President Russel M. Nelson’s closing remarks. I always love to hear President Nelson's guidance and direction as he receives direct revelation for us in these trying times. I know different parts of his talk probably inspired people differently, however, I loved when he stated:
“My dear brothers and sisters, in a coming day, Jesus Christ will return to the earth as the millennial Messiah. So today I call upon you to rededicate your lives to Jesus Christ. I call upon you to help gather scattered Israel and to prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord. I call upon you to talk of Christ, testify of Christ, have faith in Christ, and rejoice in Christ!
Come unto Christ and “offer your whole [soul]” to Him. This is the secret to a life of joy!
The best is yet to come, my dear brothers and sisters, because the Savior is coming again! The best is yet to come because the Lord is hastening His work. The best is yet to come as we fully turn our hearts and our lives to Jesus Christ.”
As I listened to his talk, I felt the need to prepare myself and my family for the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am truly grateful for our living Prophet who guides and directs us in these latter days. I hope and pray that we can all be obedient and prepare ourselves for the return of our Savior.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Howzit everyone!!!
This week was a crazy week! We had transfer announcements on Tuesday. I am now the new AP (assistant to the President). It is crazy haha. I mentioned last week that I felt like it was a possibility, but I didn't think it was going to happen. So yeah, that was a crazy start to the week!
Here are a few highlights from the week:
We had an awesome last lesson with Jaqlin and Hanis before I left. They are both so awesome and have such a strong desire to learn and grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hanis expressed interest to learn more about baptism and maybe at a future day be baptized again.
I think the coolest thing that I saw was even though we have a lot more "office work" to do, as soon as we get out and start to talk with others, we instantly see blessings and miracles. I was excited but also nervous about having to do a "different" kind of work, but the blessings and experiences are roughly the same.
I went to visit some of the members I served while living in Singapore over a year ago now. I met Patriarch Charlie, who is the grandfather of Wyatt Elia from my home stake. But yeah this week has been so awesome! I am so excited to see what this transfer has for me. I know and trust that God has a purpose for me to be here for my last six weeks. Ohh yeah that's another thing that made this week crazy. I have officially started my last transfer (6 weeks) on the mission. Time is flying! I love you all so much and hope you have a great week. If you have watched General Conference this weekend, you should send me your thoughts or favorite thoughts. I would love to hear what you learned.
Me ke aloha,
Elder Kekaula
